Clinton, Obama Predict Eventual Unity

Fayetteville, N.C. (AP) They may be bickering daily over issues, character and innuendo. But both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama appear to agree on one thing: democratic voters will rally around the eventual nominee and carry that person to victory in November over Republican John McCain.

At a rally in North Carolina, Clinton said while she and Obama each have “intense support,” their differences with each other “pale in comparison” to their differences with McCain.

Obama made a similar point in an interview on ABC's “World news.” Obama said Democrats are “going to have to come together” and says the drawn-out contest won't harm the party in the long run.
