Update: Pregnant Woman Died from Gunshot to the Neck

The Mesa County Coroner's Office has determined that Anna Macias died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Macais was shot around 11:20 last night in front of the Garden Village apartments on Belford Avenue. She later died at the hospital.
Delta Police and the Delta County Sheriff's department arrested Macias's boyfriend, 39 year old Lonnie Ray Herrera. He's being held on a $2 million arrest warrant in connection with the shooting death of 23 year old Anna Macais
She was in her third trimester of her pregnancy and the baby was delivered by an emergency C-section. Her brother, Gabriel Rodriquez, says that the baby is in intensive care with internal injuries. That baby has been named Maria.
