Orlando, Fla. (AP) An army veteran accused of trying to bring bomb-making materials onto an airplane is due to appear in court in Orlando, Florida, today.

Kevin Brown had been ordered held without bail while prosecutors review his mental health records.

Authorities arrested Brown Tuesday at Orlando International airport as he was about to board a flight home to Jamaica. They say his luggage contained materials for making pipe bombs, including explosive fuel, pipes, caps, bb's, batteries, a model-rocket
ignitor and instructions on how to make bombs.

According to court documents, Brown told the FBI he wanted to show friends back home in Jamaica how to build explosives like he saw in Iraq.
