Iraqi PM Warns Al-Sadr to Disband Militia; 2 U.S. Soldiers Killed

Baghdad (AP) Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki is issuing his strongest warning yet to radical Shiite cleric Muqtada Al-Sadr .

Al-Maliki says Al-Sadr must disband his Mahdi army militia or face political isolation. The prime minister tells Cnn that Al-Sadr's followers won't be allowed to take part in elections or Iraq's political process if the militia isn't dissolved.

Sadrists say banning them from elections would be unconstitutional. A senior Sadrist lawmaker is calling for calm, but says Al-Maliki has no right to interfere with elections.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military has announced that two more soldiers died in roadside bombings yesterday -- one in eastern Baghdad, the other in Diyala province. They're among at least five Americans killed yesterday.
