Sacramento, Calif (AP) California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is calling on hospitals to do a better job protecting their patients' privacy.

His comments come amid reports that a growing list of celebrities have had their medical records breached.

Schwarzenegger's wife, Maria Shriver, was a victim of snooping at UCLA Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles times. The paper says more than 30 other celebrities, politicians and other well-known people were, too.

Officials say the woman who looked at the records breached 61 files in total before being fired about a year ago.

Schwarzenegger says he may have also been a victim of snooping, though he didn't specify when or where.

The governor says his administration will work with hospitals to improve patient privacy. He says whether they're celebrities or ordinary citizens, everyone's medical information should be protected.
