A former award winning teacher who's battle with a meth addiction has landed her in out and jail was convicted Wednesday on charges of lying.
A jury found Tammie Liberty Lee, formerly Tammie Lee Reed, guilty of lying to court officials during a June 2007 hearing.
In October reed pleaded not guilty to the charges of attempting to influence a public servant and four counts of bail bond violations.
The Mesa County jury took more than four hours to deliberate and convict Lee.
Lee will be sentenced in late May, until then she is out on bond.
The ex– District 51 teacher has been arrested five times in just over two years.
