GVP Student of the Week: Working In Her Field

By  |

Working with clients can be difficult for any professional. Working with clients while attending high school at the same time can be down right tricky. But for Kayla DeRose, its all part of the learning experience.

DeRose takes one class at Central High School and graphic design at the Western Colorado Community College. DeRose says she has been drawing since a young age. "I would always get a pad of paper and just draw a lot of movie characters and I've been drawing ever since," says DeRose. DeRose works with clients developing logos, brochures and just about any other visual aid they may need. She says coming up with ideas can be the hardest part of the job.

DeRose will be taking classes from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh on-line when she graduates from Central High School.
