Denver (AP) Colorado authorities say a trio of shoplifters caught in Jefferson County may be responsible for 40 separate shoplifting incidents at Target stores across six states.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's office says Amy May, 25, Jordon Debow, 19, and Corey Cornwell, 23, were arrested Monday after target security caught one of them and gave a description of the others.
Authorities say the same group had shoplifted from another Target in Arvada, Colo., the day before.
The sheriff's office says it suspects the same group was responsible for similar crimes at targets in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska.
All three face a range of theft charges and remain in custody.
