Sioux Falls, S.D. (AP) A prominent former supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton says it's time for her to drop out of the race.

Former South Dakota Senator George McGovern -- who was the democratic nominee in 1972 -- is switching his allegiance to Barack Obama.

Clinton, meanwhile, has been pumping more of her own money into her campaign. She's made three loans totaling 6.4 million dollars over the past month.
