Grand Junction Man Arrested for DUI Save Email Print

Grand Junction officers arrested 21-year-old Gabriel Jaramillo this morning for DUI an a hit and run.

Jaramillo crashed his Mitsubishi into a pick-up truck with three men inside after running a stop sign.

The car ended up crashed on the lawn of someone's home near elm and 28 1/4 road just before 2 am.

Police say the driver of the Mitsubishi left the scene, but they caught up with him at Mesa and Willow on foot.

Police then gave him a road-side sobriety test and took him into custody.

The other three men were checked out by medical personnel on scene and opted not to be taken to the hospital
