Police Investigating Arson Save Email Print

The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating an arson. They say someone doused a rag in gasoline, lit it on fire, and threw it into an apartment.

It happened at 1302 Glenwood Avenue around 2:30 Saturday morning.

At this time police are releasing few details about the incident, but 11 News does know that there was least one person home at the time.

The rag started a small fire causing less than a hundred dollars in damage.

Officials say no one was hurt in the fire. The suspect or suspects in this case could face first degree arson charges.

Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 241-STOP.
