A man is behind bars this morning after police pulled him over for driving a stolen jeep owned by the driver's former roommate.

Police say a woman called them to report that her jeep had been stolen by her former roommate.

They were able to track down that suspect based on description she provided them. Grand Junction police and the Mesa County Sheriff's department found him while making a felony traffic stop at 29 Road and the desert yesterday afternoon.

The man was arrested for a stolen vehicle and the woman passenger was arrested for several outstanding warrants.
