Windsor, Colo. (AP) Trucks have overturned and buildings have been damaged as a large tornado touched down about 50 miles north of Denver today.

There are no immediate reports of injuries.

A city employee in Windsor says buildings are damaged, trees are down and electricity has been knocked out there, but it's not clear if the tornado hit the town directly.

Weld County Sheriff's spokeswoman Margie Martinez says two tractor-trailer rigs overturned about 10 miles southeast of Windsor, and electricity is knocked out to some customers in nearby Greeley.

The tornado is moving toward Fort Collins, some 20 miles to the northwest.
