Washington (AP) John McCain and Barack Obama both say change is coming as they dive into the five-month campaign for the White House.

McCain, uttered the word “change” more than 30 times in a speech last night as he tried to distance himself from President Bush and blister his democratic rival.

Obama used the phrase 19 times in a speech claiming the Democratic Presidential nomination.

Both men were full of praise for Democrat Hillary Clinton as they sought to make a play for her loyalist backers -- women and working-class voters.

The primary season is over but Clinton has stopped short of dropping out of the race even though Obama has reached the delegate count he needs for the Democratic party's nomination.

The democratic rivals may cross paths today. Obama and Clinton are addressing a pro-Israel lobbying group in Washington.
