City Looking for Art for Neighborhood Services Building

By  |

The Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture is seeking an artist to create outdoor artwork, both functional and nonfunctional for the city's newly remodeled Neighborhood Services in the City complex at Broadway and River Road.

The Project is open to all Colorado Artists. They are looking for artwork to emphasize the "neighborhood" aspect. Artists are asked to submit their qualifications to the Commission by June 24.

The project is being done through the City's "1% for Art" Program. Information about the project and artist's proposals may be obtained by contacting the Commission at 254-3865 or allisons@ci.grandjct.co.us.
