By  |

Tense moments for a pilot as he lands his plane with no brakes.

The call came into dispatch just after ten this morning that the multi–engine Cessna had no brakes on its left side. Two Grand Junction Fire Engines, an ambulance and police rushed to Grand Junction Regional Airport.

Fire officials say, the pilot cut his engine as he hit the ground and coasted to safety. The plane is registered out of Kansas. No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
