Internet Suicide Case Moves To Center Stage In Los Angeles

Los Angeles (AP) A Missouri woman is due in federal court in Los Angeles today over an internet hoax that went bad.

Lori Drew of suburban St. Louis allegedly helped create a fake Myspace account blamed in the suicide of a 13-year-old girl.

Drew has been indicted on federal charges of conspiracy and fraudulently gaining access to someone else's computer. The law ha typically been used to go after internet hackers who illegally access accounts to get information.
