DENVER (AP) Two men struck by lightning after seeking shelter in a Tuesday thunderstorm under a tree at Colorado Heights University are expected to recover.

Police say the men were sitting under the tree at the border of the campus to avoid heavy rainfall.

KUSA-TV reports that both men are in their mid-20s and are expected to survive their injuries. One remained hospitalized Tuesday at Denver Health.
