City Council gets Sneak Peek at Proposed Safety Facility

City Council got its first look at what the new proposed Public Safety Facility would look like.

The architects,. Humphries and Poli, unveiled its plans Monday at a council workshop. The $98-million project would house the police and fire departments, municipal courts and dispatch center.

The complex would be located between Ute and Pitken avenues from 5th to 7th streets.

If funding is approved, officials say it would take about 16 to 18 months to build the facility.
