Rescue crews continue to search for a woman after she went missing Friday night near Beaver Creek Mountain.

Eagle County officials say the 56-year-old Nebraska woman was horseback riding with a group to Beano's Cabin, when her horse lost its footing, causing both of them to fall into a creek. The horse was found further downstream, but the woman was not.

Rescue crews began the search shortly after the 911 call came in at 6:11 Friday night.

Efforts resumed early Saturday morning, with two search and rescue dogs, two water rescue teams, and a horseback team on scene. A helicopter was also called in to conduct an aerial search of the area.

The identity of the woman is not being released at this time.
