Three people, two from Grand Junction, are arrested in an undercover prostitution sting.
One of the female suspects was arrested for prostitution after propositioning an undercover officer, for sex.
Her fiancé is accused of helping her set up her business, and was also arrested.
According to an arrest affidavit from Grand Junction Police,
Dharma Mae Johnson, 27, of Grand Junction, was arrested Thursday night at the Motel Six on Horizon Drive.
Police say she told an undercover officer she would have sex with him, and arranged fees and accepted cash.
Meantime, her fiancé, Nathan McClure, 29, was also under surveillance.
He was pulled over in his car, and arrested for felony pimping and a bail violation.
McClure admitted to police he helped Johnson set up her appointments, and the two would then split the earnings.
McClure estimated since last November, the couple had jointly earned $5,000.
The prostitution sting was a multi-agency effort, between the Grand Junction Police Department, the Mesa County Street Crimes Unit, and Western Colorado Drug Task Force.
Another female suspect, Contessa Burnside, 33, of Rifle was also arrested and charged with prostitution.
No word if she was a part of the other couple's operation.
