'Person Of Interest' Sought In Fruitvale Shooting This Morning

Mesa County Sheriff's investigators are at the scene of a shooting early this morning in Fruitvale.

So far there are few details available in the incident, which occured at 6:15 at 3050 Walnut Avenue.

According to Sheriff's Office spokesperson Susan McBurney, deputies were called to the scene after receiving information a man had been shot at least once. He was transported to St. Mary's Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Investigators at this hour are looking for a woman described as "a person of interest."

Robin Voght is described a a white female, 5 feet five inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has blond hair and hazel eyes. Contact emergency dispatch at 9-1-1 or call the Mesa County Sheriff's Office if you have information on the whereabouts of Robin Voght.
