Following a wet November, the city of Grand Junction reports above average water content for Grand Mesa water sheds. According to the data collected at 10 sites, the current water content of 4.7" is 165 percent above the normal average of 2.8". Grand Mesa's number nine reservoir is already halfway to its maximum inches content, with 5.5". This is good news for the city, as water sheds on the Grand Mesa supply raw water for water treatment, as well as for irrigation for city properties.
