The suspect in an attempted murder incident in Grand Junction
is also facing similar charges in Garfield County and was in court today. During today's hearing at the Garfield County courthouse Sam Lincoln was advised of his rights and applied for representation from the public defenders office. The suspect faces charges stemming from an alleged 2004 incident including attempted 2nd degree murder, first degree assault and burglary
theft and criminal trespass. Lincoln is shuttling between Mesa and Garfield Counties for his criminal preceedings and is due back in court next month.
