The City Clerk's office hosted free training on liquor licensing in the city hall auditorium today.
Topics included server responsibility, ID checking and enforcement, recognizing signs of intoxication, guarding against over service of patrons and compliance with the city's smoking ordinance.
The alcohol server and responsibility training class is held four times a year and those who participate are certified by the state.
More than 50 people attended today's free class.
Another class is scheduled for April.
