Denver (AP) Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter says state government can save $205 million over the next five years by being more efficient.

The governor released a study Wednesday that contains 90 recommendations from state employees to improve customer service and save money.

They include reducing Medicaid fraud, consolidating procurement and increasing energy efficiency in state buildings.

The study cost $717,000 and took more than a year.
