Aaccording to the calendar it may be Winter, however you may have noticed temperatures around the Grand Valley have been above normal for past few weeks.
With an average temperature in the mid 30s, Jan. is typically the coldest month in Grand Junction. This Jan. has been a different story, with temperatures ranging mainly in the low to mid 40s.
Warm air continues to move into Colorado from the Pacific, and since Dec. 21, the official start of Winter, the Grand Valley has seen only a handful of days at or below normal temperatures, a trend that will likely continue for the next week or two.
