The Western Colorado CommunityCcollege is branching out to help people in the lower end of the Grand Valley meet their educational needs. With the support of School District 51 and the city of Fruita the college is offering residents easier access to college and college preparatory classes. The classes begin January 23rd and will be held at Fruita Monument High School. Some of the courses offered include Beginning Technology Integration, Basic Writing and Foundations of Reading, as well as Fundamental of Mathematics. Officials with the college which is a branch of Mesa State say the course offerings are just part of the on–going effort to make quality education available and accessible to everyone in the valley.
