Park County Wildfire 50% Contained

By  |

Firefighters battling an 1100 acre wildfire in Park County, Colorado say the fire is now about 50% contained.

100 people are still under an evacuation order.

Cooler weather helped fire fighters gain ground on the fire Saturday.

Officials say only a shed and a camping trailer have burned.

It's believed lightning may have sparked the fire.

FEMA says the federal government will help pay for firefighting costs.
