Republican candidate for Governor,
Marc Holtzman made a stop in Grand Junction today.

Holtzman is running against congressman Bob Beauprez for the GOP ticket. His platform includes issues with illegal immigration, property rights and K-12 education.
Holtzman is the only candidate who has lived here on the Western Slope, and another goal he has is to keep Colorado's water here in the state. As governor he hopes to increase the reservoires and aquifirs in the state so as to keep as much of Colorado's water in the state as possible.
The candidates running for the democratic ticket are attorney Bill Ritter and freshman state representative Gary Lindstrom.
