Foreign Exchange Students Enjoy an American Pastime

Five new foreign exchange students have arrived in Grand Junction with the Council for Educational Travel USA.

The students are coming from countries all over the world, including Austria, Brazil, Ecuador, Finland, Germany, Macedonia, the Netherlands and North Korea.
The students will be attending high schools here in the Grand Valley.
This is the first week in the United States for some of these students,
and Saturday,
they all went bowling, some of them for the very first time.

The students are living with local families that have agreed to open up their homes, and take in a student for a semester, ten months, or a year.
If you are interested in housing a foreign exchange student, you can contact Christy Herbst at (970)241-7326.
