The fifteen-year-old Grand Junction teenager who walked away from a youth facility last night, returns this morning on her own accord.
The Grand Junction Police Department launched a large scale search for the teen after someone witnessed her climbing over a backyard fence at 1020 Grand Avenue Monday night. The teen left without either shoes or jacket. The police were immediately concerned about her well being due to the cold temperatures.
The teen returned around 9 o'clock this morning and would not tell investigators where she had been all night. The police department has not classified this incident as a "runaway report."
