Last Chance for Residents to Voice Opinions on Master Plan

Grand Valley residents have one last chance to voice their opinions about the Mesa County Rural Master Plan.

The formal and final public hearing is this Thursday at 7 pm, in the public hearing room at the Old Mesa County Courthouse. Over the past few months, members of the public have attended several informal public hearings and given input on the master plan. The plan outlines the community's vision and guide for land use and development for the next ten to fifteen years.

The Planning Commission may vote to adopt the revised master plan at Thursday's meeting, but if the Commissioners needs more time to hear input from the public, the voting could be postponed until February 2nd.
