Law enforcement officers searching for a wanted individual arrest six people and seize a large number of dangerous weapons yesterday in Grand Junction.
Members of the Western Colorado Drug Task Force arrived at 419 Belford Avenue looking for an individual. There they arrested 22-year-old Jason Payne for being under the influence of drugs. 25–year–old Adam Marland was also arrested for drug violations as well as possessing seven firearms, a stick of dynamite, a deactivated rocket launcher and methamphetamine. Sergeant Kevin Imbracio of the DEA-Western Colorado Drug Task force says the rocket launcher was a one-time-use device and could not be used again. He says such items along with the dynamite also found are not unusual seizures in drug cases.
Also under arrest are 21–year–old Samantha Shepard, Jennifer Kratzer,age 25,
33 year old Sean Handley, and Adam Fielding, age 27. All are wanted on various warrants.
