This week's Grand Valley Power Student of the Week is an early graduate of Palisade High School. Amanda Atkins has always been fond of school,
but during her junior year of high school she decided to graduate early so she could focus on other things. While it was hard to squeeze in all the required credits, Amanda's glad she did. Amanda is a volunteer at her church and hopes to help out the school district by volunteering as a teachers aide. Amanda plans to attend mesa state college in the fall and major in elementary education.
