Members of the Grand Junction City Council braved some muddy conditions Wednesday to see for themselves the progress of the multi million dollar Riverside Parkway Project.
This project is the largest single contract the city has ever had and the plans for the 7-mile stretch of new roads has been in the works for more than a decade, so it was only appropriate for the council members to have a chance to walk the grounds of the construction sites to see just how the it was coming along.
The entire project is supposed to be completed by Nov. of 2008.
