The Mesa County Search and Rescue Ground Team isn't searching for a missing person, but instead new members.
The team is now holding interviews for admission to its spring prospective member class, which will last 6 weeks and focus on topics such as survival, search methods, and land navigation.
In 2005 search and rescue responded to more than fifty calls for help in Mesa County's back country and surrounding areas.
To apply call Robb Reece at 257?1041 for an interview or stop by the Sheriffs office to fill out an application. The class starts March 30th.
