One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 has re-opened after icy roads caused a four-vehicle crash two miles west of Glenwood Springs. According to Colorado State Patrol Emergency Dispatch in Craig, Colorado, a utility truck crashed into a minivan, causing two other vehicles to become involved. Eastbound lanes of the Interstate were closed for several hours, with traffic diverted at exit 90 north to Meeker.
Craig dispatch says there were no serious injuries resulting from the accidents. Both lanes of the Interstate arew expected to be cleared by ten this morning, but motorists are warned to expect slow progress due to poor weather conditions.
