A body found Saturday afternoon in the Tabeguache Trail area has been identified as a hiker who went missing more than a week ago. While a Bureau of Land Management search in the Bangs Canyon area in the morning turned up no signs of Adam Roach, hikers stumbled on to his body a short time later not too far away in the area of the Tabeguache Trail. The Mesa County Coroner's Office made the identification of Adam Roach Saturday evening. The 26–year–old was reported missing by his brother January 27th. He told authorities Roach was hiking in the Colorado National Monument a few days earlier. Roach's family was notified shortly after the identification was made. An exact cause of death has not been determined as of yet and it's expected the autopsy will be performed either Sunday or Monday. The recovery effort involved several local agencies including the Grand Junction Fire Department, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, the Grand Junction Police Department and Mesa County Search and Rescue.
