Gas drilling near municipal watersheds is a sensitive topic, one that state representative Bernie Buescher from Grand Junction is seeking input on from members of the community.
Buescher is trying to get a feel for what voters want in regards to Oil and Gas drilling on the watersheds.
The cities of Palisade and Grand Junction have already expressed concern over ensuring the water supply is not harmed.
Buescher has held several meetings this weekend to hear input,
so he can make decisions that represent the sentiments of residents of Mesa County.
