A fugitive accused of ruining a Grand Junction man’s movie night at home is being held without bond, facing numerous charges.
Police say that Daniel Stetzel is now facing more charges including burglary, assault, resisting arrest and property damage.
Officials say stetzel was running from deputies when he broke down Caleb Abeloe’s front door and begged him to hide him. But Abeloe wasn't about to pop another bag of popcorn and let him stay, instead he threw him outside. Deputies drew their guns and took the man into custody.
As for having a quiet movie night, Abeloe says plans have changed to fixing his front door.
