Charles Pruitt was in court Thursday,
but not for the attempted murder out in the desert.

There was a preliminary hearing in Judge Diester's courtroom for two other felonies Pruitt has been charged with.
Kidnapping, and intimidation of a witness.
Judge Diester listened to evidence to determine if the case would be sent to trial, and the judge decided that there was a need for the proceedings.
Pruitt will be facing the kidnapping and intimidation charges this summer.
Pruitt will be in court at the end of March for a preliminary hearing on the attempted murder charges he is facing in an unrelated case.
