Taxes are a certainty for Mesa County residents but the treasurer's office is trying to make paying property taxes a little easier.
The treasurer is now accepting credit cards.
The new system allows tax payers to pay online or over the phone using their plastic of choice.
E-check payments are also now allowed with the system.
The treasurer's office is the first Mesa County department to provide this service,
but it will not be the last.
Mesa County hopes to extend the payment option to other departments soon.
