Local Man Faces Surgery After Stabbing

Video will be available shortly.

A Mesa County man remains at St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction after being stabbed at a party north of Fruita last night.

Fruita police officers and Mesa County deputies responded to the emergency room at Family Health West after three people were brought in with stab wounds at 1AM.

Two of the victims were not seriously injured, but one man stabbed in the arm and torso underwent surgery for his wounds this morning.

18–year–old John Patrick Hill of Grand Junction was arrested after being questioned. Investigators continue to interview witnesses to determine exactly what happened to cause Hill to stab the three victims.
