Olathe resident Richard Harding has announced his decision to run for Montrose County Commissioner as a republican candidate. Harding hopes to continue the olathe voice on the board of commissioners. He feels strongly that there needs to be a person familiar with agriculture on the board. Harding has been involved in county politics for the past 10 years and has worked closely with the current commissioners on several projects. So he says running for Montrose County commissioner was just the next step. The district 2 seat Harding hopes to fill is being vacated by David Ubell who's term limited.
