City crews are working today to re–shape the Blue Heron boat ramp at Jr. Service League Park in Grand Junction. Over the years erosion has caused the grade on the ramp to get steeper, making it difficult for some boaters with larger craft to get in and out of the river. Work on the ramp should be finished sometime Wednesday. Until then it is suggested ramps be used at Corn Lake, Connected Lakes or Loma.
