Helping those who have loved ones hooked on Methamphetamine; that's the goal of a new support group being formed in Mesa County. In cooperation with the Mesa County Meth Taskforce, two concerned citizens who are also trained therapists have come forward to implement a new support group for families of meth users. The group will hold an informational meeting next week to determine what family members are looking for in terms of education and support when coping with meth abuse by a loved one. The informational meeting for the family member support group is open to anyone needing help to deal with a family member on meth. It's scheduled for Wednesday February 22nd at 11 AM. It will be held in the multipurpose room in the old courthouse annex building at 544 Rood Avenue in Grand Junction.
