Hundreds Of Local Students Take Aim At State Science Fair

Video games reduce stress in children and basketballs bounce better when they're hot. These are just some of the answers that middle and high school students found Monday during the Western Colorado Science Fair.
The students came from schools all over the Western Slope to display their experiments. Up to 300 students were competing for scholarships and for the chance to compete in the state science fair.
Alpine Bank, the sponsors of the fair, will also be sending two of the top projects at the fair to the international science competition in Indianapolis.
