Landowners in Mesa County can receive help ridding their property of noxious weeds thanks to a cost–sharing program approved by the County Commissioners in 2003, but the application deadline is fast approaching.
Landowners in unincorporated parts of the county can be reimbursed up to 500 dollars to control certain weeds, including the cost of herbicide and labor.
For more information on the weed control cost–sharing program call Judith Serota at the Mesa County Division of Pest Control at 255–7120.
