Gap Fire Forces Hundreds to Evacuate Save Email Print

Wildfires burning in California continue to threaten thousands of homes.

Crews have been battling the Gap Fire north of Los Angeles, which is only 24 percent contained.

It's burned more than 8,000 acres and threatens around 1,700 homes.

Friday night, mandatory evacuations were ordered for 850 houses including the home of former KKCO Reporter Mike Defina who now works for ABC Affiliate KEY-TV.
